Yesterday I had to bring in my new Odyssey, and every part of my experience was above and beyond. It is rare to feel better after going to do a thing like take your car in, but I did. The person at the door gave my son a juice while I was digging for my insurance card, which I couldn't find. Then Kevin printed it out for me, even giving me an extra copy, which was very thoughtful. And when I was piling into the loaner car, another man who works there saw me struggling with the car seat and came over and got into the car and put in the carseat, even getting in it to make sure it was securely fastened, like my husband does. He has a three year old, and was helping out in that way that seems old-fashioned (as in it rarely happens anymore!), but really makes a difference.

Kevin took care of the problems and explained them clearly to me. Now my car is perfect, including the mystery remote problem, and I just cannot say enough things about how pleasant the experience was. Lucky for y'all, I have tons of neighbors who love my new minivan, and I was standing around raving about my service yesterday...I will have zero hesitation sending as many folks your way as I can. I have always been happy with my Hondas, but am new to Howdy and it is a world of difference how well-run and nicely done each aspect of Howdy is.

"My wife has been driving, that she says is the best car she has ever owned, for now 4,000 miles. She loves that CR-V and so have other teacher friend who show envy. She had an oil change at which we were told was not needed for several more miles and then until the wrench popped up on the dash. We are both used to a regular 3,000 oil change, mainly for the mechanic to make sure nothing is starting to go wrong. My wife bought a net for the CR-V trunk space and the men there were very helpful in answering questions I had about the oil, oil filter and tire rotation. I certainly had a feeling of trust after reading what the service people had done, even though we can wait for more than 4,000 miles. I feel for the cost of an oil change, it is worth a check-up.

Though, if I did not know better, I would think she had a crush on probably one of the best salesmen that you have (no, that Honda has), Rob Dee. While waiting for the oil change and check-up, she had some questions about her new car and had to find out through Rob, even though I read the manual and gave her an explanation for her question. I am a very suspicious and questioning person and I was totally surprised at the knowledge and immediate answer that Rob had on the CR-V, as well as the Honda pickup and probably other Honda vehicles. I was especially pleased that Rob was not one of these pushy salesman that I would have taken my wife and left after a very short visit.

Tonight, my wife said two of the teachers at her school said they were going to talk to their husbands about looking at a Honda CR-V. One even got into Sandra’s car and said “this is more like me”. Naturally, she told them who to look for.

The technician who worked on my car noticed a nail in one of my tires. I was especially impressed with - and thankful for - the tech's attention to detail. He showed me the nail, which was very small and would've been easy to miss. Fortunately, the nail hadn't penetrated the tire, so it was easy to fix. But if he hadn't noticed the nail when he was rotating my tires yesterday...well, let's say I'd probably have to buy a new set of tires today.

I told the service guy, Tim, that there was no way I could wait for another 2 hours so I would just have to bring it in another day. Tim got me an Accord to use as a loaner so I could get back to work. Picked up my car this morning, all ready to go, and left the loaner car. "Everyone at your dealership was very curious!  Kevin has won me for service!  AS I told him when I went to Howdy I have had a long relationship that has been severed with [other dealer] due to their service manager not caring for customer service but merely for her own needs! 

I think staff moral, loyalty, customer service and treating people right is very important!  I have been a loyal customer and have sent many customers to their dealership to the point I was at one time listed as one of their top customers so much so,  I don't think I have paid for an oil change until yesterday! :)    I hope one day I will build the family relationship with your dealership!   

In the past year they made several changes in their service department  where the staff is unhappy because she is very self centered and is always before them, therefore their misery is pushed onto the customers, she went from having the same staff for the last 9 years to turn over where when you go in you never know who you will see and who will take care of you!  I am  just a number and not important.  I am not greeted anymore with the smiles or treated as if they want my business at all;  I actually finally went and asked for permission for my old mechanic that was moved from Honda to Hyundai to start doing the services on my car and he understood what I had been through in Honda and approved Thomas to do my services on my vehicle, but warranty work was out of his control. 

I boycotted Wal-Mart in 2005 and haven't been back in one due to customer service. I just feel if I am not important to the place I am spending money then I don't need to spend money there!!

I want to thank you and your staff for being above and beyond for my first visit!  Yesterday was a very rare day that started rough but Kevin was very informative, apologetic when it wasn't his place to apologize and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was informed and taken care of! I appreciate that and appreciate not being treated like another car in the line up with no importance!

ALSO I would like to Recognize your fabulous Porter... (I hate I don't remember his name) but he comes in at 6ish and leaves at 10 ... older nice looking gentleman that has a condo in HSB... :o) he was extremely polite, customer oriented  and I could listen to his stories for days!  He made the long traffic situation a pleasure and is an asset to Howdy!!!

This time I would like to thank you specially for expediting my regular oil change service. I was in the middle of a very busy work week and work day--traveling from Webberville to 620/2222 and needed to leave town at 4pm for a long weekend with family in Port Aransas. The oil change light flashed at the beginning of the week--but I didn't know when I would be able to get this far south and have time enough to get the oil changed. One of the service reps at the Express Service desk, after I had almost decided to just postpone the service altogether for lack of time, made it all happen! I arrived at my next appointment right on time, was able to attend the meeting at the office right after that, and still was able to leave town for the beach weekend at 4pm. Thanks again. Kevin Childers did a heck of a job and he along with all of the Howdy professionals made my experience a good one.  In addition to general maintenance, Kevin pointed out a few bulletin issues and recall items that needed to be attended to.  Finally, Kevin diagnosed a tricky sound with help from others using a video file I took a few days before my visit.  Because the sound would not repeat once the engine warmed, he literally took my phone around to different technicians in the service department until someone recognized the sound. If that’s not above and beyond, I’m not sure what is. Totally cool experience! Thank You.

I was not only completely satisfied with all the work you did on my CR-V recently, but I was also totally satisfied in dealing with all of the staff. Each time I am at Howdy Honda, for whatever reason, I leave there impressed by everyone's friendliness and apparent commitment to do things the right way, for the right reasons.

Everyone there, whether it's been Nick, or you, or service personnel, always seems to want to give 110% to make sure that I, as the customer, am always satisfied and well taken care of. I really appreciate the level of service, friendliness and courtesy I have received from all the personnel at Howdy Honda. I am very happy with my decision to purchase my vehicle from Howdy Honda and to have it serviced there.

As you know from my previous emails, it is because of certain members of your service team that I drive 27 miles one way, just to get my oil changed. 

Not that all of your team isn't courteous and knowledgeable, but there are two in particular: Clint Collins and Jacob Mathews, that give that little something extra, each and every time, I'm there!!  Yesterday, when I called Clint to tell him I was running late for a 7am appt (again), and asked him which was better MOPAC or I-35, after a couple of questions, he advised neither - I followed his advice and took 130, and made it from Round Rock to Howdy in 25 minutes - at 7:35!!!  I should have been taking that route since tollway opened!!  In addition to saving me aggravation on the trip down, Clint advised me that I didn't need to worry about the recall that I thought included my vehicle; he explained that I've kept myself pretty much on schedule and updated.

Not that Jake did anything unusual, but not enough people take the time to know their (your) customers, like Jake and Clint.  Knowing that I'm a devout LSU fan - some call me a fanactic, Jake brought me over to the merchandise cases, to show me the battery operated, collegiate & pro football window lights.  Needless to say I bought an LSU and a Saints light!!

Both men are always professional, courteous, and understanding of what it is I'm concerned with at that visit.  If I'm ever in a position to upgrade my vehicle (definitely not at the moment), while Rick Rojas was great to deal with as a salesman, it will be because of your service team members Clint and Jake, that I'd return to Howdy Honda!!

So, I guess I'm writing because they don't meet my expectations, but exceed them, each and every time!  Please keep these guys around.  They are both quite dedicated employees for Howdy, and Honda!!

Jesse was great about explaining things to me and my husband (since apparently I wasn't able to relay the message properly!) and Brad was very genuine and had a great personality. Thank you for your service yesterday.

My minor warranty service work went just fine. It was only a burnt out turn signal bulb. I was impressed with the courtesy and efficiency of your staff and appreciated the free car wash and the free Krispy Kreme donut and coffee. I buy Honda's because of their dependability and lack of mechanical problems, so it was especially pleasant to encounter such a smooth maintenance operation.

I have no complaints but wanted to respond anyway.  I just wanted to say that every time we come to Howdy Honda to have our car serviced, the people working there are so delightful, efficient, and helpful.  I had some place to be by a certain time, and one of the gentleman made sure my car got in to the bay and out by my deadline.  I was perfectly willing to return later if necessary, but he made it happen.  As I was sitting in the Express Service waiting room, I overheard another gentleman helping customers on the phone.  He was polite and informative and patient every time he made or answered calls.  Also, the fact that Howdy Honda provides its customers with coffee, sodas, juice, etc. is such a nice treat.  It makes me feel special and comfortable.  I will always own a Honda just so I can come to Howdy Honda to have it serviced.  Your attention to detail really does make a difference.  Thank you.

As usual, the service at the express center was great.  While this last time, there was a mistake, the manager, Jacob, made sure that I was taken care of. I will continue to have my Civic serviced by Howdy Honda. While I might find a slightly cheaper place, I have yet to find a place that matches your quality of service, timeliness, honesty, and customer accommodations.

I just wanted to let you know what a great guy Clint Collins is!
Last night I drove my Honda Accord into my garage about midnight. 
When I turned off the key, the whole car seemed to go dead. The doors wouldn't unlock with the door button or the button on my keypad, the steering wheel locked up, the brakes weren't responsive, and the key wouldn't turn in the ignition. Knowing that I had a schedule to keep today, I was upset.
A few minutes ago, I called my service rep Clint on his cell phone as I always do. This time, I inadvertently caught him at home, which I didn't realize until I heard his child in the background. He didn't put me off or refer me elsewhere, just listened to my problem and told me how to release the steering wheel and fix the problem within a few seconds. I am so grateful. Kudos to him and to Howdy Honda. 
I've been a Honda owner since 1995 and it is that kind of service, above and beyond, that will keep me coming back.

Your service center is awesome.   Better than Jaguar, Lotus, Audi and BMW (Currently have a Lotus and Jag- Abandoned Audi in Austin due to poor service center).  If Honda ever makes a luxury rear drive sedan or a spiritual successor to the NSX, I will be in line at Howdy Honda.
